You are probably aware that the West Texas community is full of many entertaining sites and scenes, some with very rich culture and history to appreciate.

Abilene offers a variety of activities that you can do alone or with friends on the cheap or for a small price that is usually under $100. Visit the local zoo that is located at 2070 Zoo Lane. Here visitors may witness and observe a diverse array of animals, from flamingos, to lions, tigers and bears,oh my. Petting and feeding options are available to guests as well. If appreciating animals and wildlife is your fancy, you can do it at the Abilene Zoo for less than $20 for general admission. 

Catch a show at Paramount Theater located in downtown Abilene at 352 Cypress. Prices vary depending on the performance, but the venue offers a selection of events from a diverse cast of artists. The website offers a calendar of events to view what will be happening, what time the event will be and how much it will cost to secure a seat for that production.

Knock down some pins at the PrimeTime Family Entertainment center, located 4541 Loop 322. Not only do they offer bowling, but also offer golf, Go-karts, VR games, Laser tag and more, starting at $40 for a pass that includes access to all activities. 

Examine the art and rich culture of the Grace Museum, located at 102 Cypress Street. An old hotel turned into a cultural hub and art center. You can find yourself at general admission for $8 and absorb and explore the multifaceted history and art of the museum. Upcoming exhibitions starting in mid October through February starring Little Mouse on the Prairie and a showcase featuring new work from Gail Norfleet.

Test your brains with friends at an Eye Spy escape room, located at 1401 Danville. You'll be able to attempt three separate and thrilling rooms. An establishment renowned for engaging, challenging and creative puzzles. For a single person admission starts at $20.
